SSL Protocol

You have an option during login to use a secure connection when accessing your account information.

Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Protocol was designed by Netscape Communications to enable encrypted, authenticated communications on the Internet. SSL protocol uses a public key encryption technique that utilizes a pair of asymmetric keys (public and private) for encryption and decryption. Security Certificates are used to verify secure connections. SSL protocol provides privacy, authentication and message integrity and is always used while logging on to the Portfolio Review regardless of your selection to use a secure connection. However, once you are logged in and viewing account financial data, the added security encryption measures create a significant impact on performance and may substantially slow the operation of these pages.

For these reasons, and since no personal information may be entered or altered through this site, the Portfolio Review is developed for optimum efficiency for use without a secure connection. However, should you wish to use SSL protocol during your session, click on the Security check box prior to clicking on the Login button.

While precaution has been taken to ensure information is transmitted safely and securely, First Republic Trust Company does not guarantee or warrant the privacy or security of information on the internet. Account information via PAL is for inquiry purposes only. While information cannot be altered, it can be downloaded for financial reports and presentations.
