Karin J. Barber is a Managing Director and Senior Trust Officer at First Republic Trust Company.

Prior to joining First Republic in 2006, Barber worked as a Vice President and Trust Officer for U. S. Trust Company, where she was employed since 1994. Prior to her tenure at U.S. Trust Company, Barber worked in Puget Sound Bank's (now Key Bank of Washington) Private Banking Division, in Tacoma, Washington.

Barber has nearly 20 years of service in the wealth management industry. Her experience focuses on delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to high net worth individuals, as well as providing fiduciary management and administration to complex trust relationships.

Barber earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lawrence University in Wisconsin and a Master's in Business Administration from City University in Washington. She is a graduate of Cannon Financial Institute and holds the professional designation of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor. Barber is currently working on obtaining her Certified Financial Planner designation.
