Rebecca DeCesaro
Rebecca DeCesaro is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
DeCesaro has 20 years experience in the investment business. Prior to First Republic, she was employed as Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at U.S. Trust for just under six years. DeCesaro's portfolio management duties began in 1994 when she assumed the position of Chief Investment Officer for the Merchants Trust Company. She started her career in 1987 with position at Morgan Stanley in New York. DeCesaro has extensive institutional knowledge and experience and has been employed by various investment banking and money management firms including Montgomery Securities (San Francisco), Charles Schwab Corp (Denver) and Brown Brothers Harriman (Boston).
An involved member of the non-profit community, DeCesaro is currently on the Board at Marylhurst University, Neighborhood House and New Leadership Oregon. In addition, she is an active volunteer at Northwest Children's Outreach, numerous soccer clubs associated with the Oregon Youth Soccer Association and a member of the Women's Investing Network affiliated with the Oregon Entrepreneurs Forum.
DeCesaro received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from Montana State University.

Lawrence W. "Tige" Harris
Tige Harris is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Harris has over 42 years experience in the investment business. He joined First Republic in 2006 after spending ten years at U.S. Trust, serving as Chief Investment Officer for their Pacific Northwest Region and being appointed Managing Director in 2004. Preceding U.S. Trust, Harris was President of Lombard Odier USA in New York City from 1993 – 1996 following time spent he in the UK, beginning in 1984, as Chief Investment Officer for Equities at the firm's London offices. Harris precedent his time in the UK with roles at a venture capital firm in Portland (1977) and a role as Chief Investment Officer at Capital Consultants. From 1974 – 1977, he managed international portfolios for Ivory & Sime in Edinburgh, Scotland. Harris began his career as a forest products and farm machinery analyst at C.J. Lawrence & Son in New York City in 1969.
Harris serves on the Boards of Oregon Episcopal School and Pacific University, and chairs the Investment Committees of those two institutions.
Prior to earning his MBA from Stanford University, Harris received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Dartmouth College.

Lucas Newman, CIMC
Lucas Newman is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Prior to joining First Republic in 2011, Newman worked for Wells Fargo's The Private Bank for over ten years, most recently as Vice President, Investment Manager. His experience also includes working for a regional investment advisor in western Montana prior to Wells Fargo. Newman works in collaboration with each client to create written business plans to help guide investors toward their individual financial goals.
An active community participant, Newman currently serves on the board at Fruit & Flower Childcare as a Finance Committee member.
Newman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Montana and holds the Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC) designation.

Michael Tinney, CIMA, CPWA, CIMC
Michael Tinney is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Tinney has more than 25 years of investment management experience. He works with high–net worth individuals, families and foundations helping them meet their investment objectives. Prior to joining First Republic in 2011, Tinney was a Senior Investment Manager for Wells Fargo's Private Bank, Portland office. At Wells Fargo, Tinney served as a member of Wells Fargo's Family Wealth Investment Policy Committee. Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 1995, Mr. Tinney worked as a portfolio manager and member of the investment committee with Investors Research Company.
Tinney received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Sacramento, with honors from Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma Societies. He has earned the Chartered Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), the Certified Investment Management Consultant (CIMC), and the Certified Investment Management Analyst designations (CIMA). He also served as a member of the Consulting Advisory Counsel and Consulting Research Group.

Rex L. Wardlaw
Rex L. Wardlaw is a Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
At First Republic, Wardlaw manages assets for clients in both the Portland and Seattle offices of First Republic Investment Management. His responsibilities include ongoing investment research and asset allocation work for clients. Wardlaw has direct responsibility for managing the Seattle office and also contributes to the investment research and management effort of the Portland team. Prior to joining First Republic, Wardlaw was Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for US Trust from 1999 to 2006. From 1986 to 1999, he was a Commercial Loan Officer, Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager in the First Interstate Bank of Oregon Trust Department and its successor firm, Wells Fargo Capital Management. At Wells Capital Management, Wardlaw served as Managing Director of the Value Group, managing over $3 billion in equity mutual funds and institutional investments.
Wardlaw is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society in Seattle, Washington. He also serves on the Finance Council of St. James Cathedral and is a member of the Magnolia Community Club and the Municipal League of Seattle.
Wardlaw holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Northwest Nazarene University and an MBA from the University of Oregon.

Jeffrey K. Yandle
Jeffrey K. Yandle is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at First Republic Investment Management.
Prior to joining First Republic, Yandle served in a similar capacity as Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for US Trust from 1997 to 2006. Before that, he was a Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager for Wells Fargo from 1993 to 1997. Yandle's previous experience also includes five years with the Institutional Investment Department of First Interstate Bank and three years on the bond trading desk as a registered representative at Black and Company, Inc. Yandle has over 20 years experience in the investment business.
An extremely active member of the non-profit community, Yandle currently serves as the Board Chair for the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Center in Portland, Oregon. Yandle also serves on the board and executive committee for the Abbey Foundation of Oregon, chairing the investment committee. He serves on the board of LaSalle Education Foundation and the Finance Council of the Archdiocese of Portland and is a volunteer educator in the Banking On Our Future program in Portland area high schools. He is currently a member of the University Club and the Arlington Club in Portland. Past affiliations include the boards of Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East and Metropolitan Family Services as well as the Pastoral Council at St. Ignatius Church in Southeast Portland.
Yandle received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Portland and has completed graduate studies from the University of Notre Dame.
