Karen Bratt Appointed Managing Director

First Republic Continues To Expand In Boston

SAN FRANCISCO – First Republic Bank, a leading provider of wealth management, private banking and private business banking services, today announced that Karen Bratt, a banking and investment professional with 22 years of experience, has been named Managing Director.

Bratt was formerly a senior member of U.S. Trust’s office in Boston, where she managed relationships for high net worth clients. At First Republic, Bratt will work with high net worth individuals and families, providing private banking, private business banking, investment management and trust services, and real estate lending at the Bank’s office at 160 Federal Street in downtown Boston.

Prior to joining First Republic, Bratt was Senior Private Banker and Senior Vice President for U.S. Trust Company in Boston. Prior to that, she was Vice President for Boston Private Bank & Trust Company. Bratt has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wellesley College and an MBA from Boston University. Bratt has served as a board member of the Wellesley College Alumnae Association. She is also Chair of Corporate Sponsorships for the non-profit Center for Women and Enterprise in Boston.
